Chapter 9 Solutions Manual

This is a place for students to help each other learn by writing a collaborative solutions manual! You must make at least two edits/contributions to the wiki. One contribution will be an answer to one of the problems and the other must be a modification. Here is what you have to do:

Answering your problem includes...

completely solving the problem including a detailed explanation of the steps involved. You may want to look at the example problem for guidance. You will be randomly assigned one of the 15 problems. There are two problems each from lessons 9-1 to 9-7 and one problem from 9-8. All these problems are fairly challenging, so be prepared to use all that you learned from chapter 9 to solve.

A modification means ...

you edit a problem other than your own. You might correct a significant error or a couple small errors. This is the whole idea behind a wiki. Do not just read other people's responses and assume that they are correct; look for proper vocabulary and steps to solutions.

How this works....

Use the navigator to find and edit problems. All problems are categorized into the lessons. To begin writing the solution to your problem, click on "Edit" at the top of your page. Use the equation editor in the sidebar to create mathematical equations.
